Equipping Youth of all Ages
Our mission is to share God’s love with every child we encounter, lead them to put their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and grow in their relationship with Him.
Reduce the Risk Training and Screening is required for all our children and youth volunteers to help ensure a safe environment where children and youth can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Nursery: Children in our nursery (ages 3 and under) are cared for in a safe, loving, and nurturing environment by attentive volunteers. Our team provides gentle care, comfort, and age-appropriate engagement so families can worship with confidence, knowing their little ones are well loved.
Pre-School: Pre-School (ages 2–4) meets during Sunday School (9-9:45 am) and provides a fun, safe, and engaging environment led by loving volunteers. Through play, songs, crafts, and age-appropriate Bible lessons, children are introduced to foundational biblical truths and God’s love in ways they can understand and enjoy.
Elementary: Elementary (grades K–8) meets during Sunday School (9:00–9:45 am) and offers engaging, age-appropriate Bible teaching and activities led by fun, caring volunteers. Children learn biblical truth in practical ways that help them grow in faith, build relationships, and understand how God’s Word applies to their everyday lives.
High School: High School (grades 9–12) meets during Sunday School (9:00–9:45 am) and focuses on biblical teaching with clear, relevant life application. Through engaging discussion led by authentic, faithful believers, students learn how to read the Bible, practice spiritual disciplines, explore apologetics, and connect God’s Word to everyday life.
Youth Group: Youth Groups meet twice a month for worship, prayer, games, and Bible study, with additional activities throughout the year focused on service, fellowship, and spiritual growth.
- Junior Youth Group: Youth in 5th – 8th grade
- Senior Youth Group: Youth in 9th-12th grades
Led by authentic, faithful believers, these groups provide fun, engaging environments where students grow in faith, build community, and deepen their relationship with God.
Prayer Partners: Every child and youth at LFFC is paired with a Prayer Partner—an adult who prays regularly for them throughout the school year. Having a faithful church family praying during these key developmental years helps build trust, strengthens faith, and supports each child’s growing relationship with Jesus.
Vacation Bible School (VBS): A fun, high-energy week held Monday–Thursday each June for children ages 5 through 5th grade to explore and learn more about Jesus. Led by senior youth and adult volunteers, VBS provides a meaningful opportunity for children to grow in faith, and for youth to invite friends and share God’s love with the community.
